CreatiVisibility Launches Wilmington Collector Street Plan Site

Apex-Cary, N.C. – CreatiVisibility recently designed and launched a Web site for the Wilmington Collector Street Plan, a planning initiative administered by the Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization. The site provides information and outreach to stakeholders and planners involved in the collector street study process. The study will look at potential ideas in an effort to improve the mobility, travel efficiency and safety of transportation in and around Wilmington. Stantec Consulting, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is the consultant for the study.
Collector streets are low to moderate-capacity roads which move traffic from local streets to bigger, arterial roads. Collector streets are also designed to provide access to residential area and tend to distribute traffic more evenly. In addition to enhancing biking and walking options, collector streets can often dramatically reduce travel time, an especially important concern for emergency service providers.

The community comment section houses focus group feedback where CreatiVisibility will later add a community discussion blog and survey as needed. The site is hosted by CreatiVisibility.
