Apex-Cary, N.C - CreatiVisibility, a marketing and design firm in North Carolina, accepted 3 awards including a Platinum designation in the recent 2013 MarCom international creative awards competition. The Platinum Award was given for logo design, Gold for brochure design and Honorable Mention for a pro bono event campaign. MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. There were over 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries in the 2013 competition.

"The Triangle Foodscapes logo is really getting attention at creative competitions. This logo also received a bronze award in another competition earlier this year. I am very honored,” said Lisa Gullette, Owner and Creative Director of CreatiVisibility. Drew Glaser, owner of Triangle Foodscapes said, "That is awesome. I have gotten a ton of compliments on it. Your work is now displayed on all my work shirts as well as my truck and jackets. It appeals to the exact clientele I was looking for and I could not ask for more. You are great at what you do and I am glad you are greeting recognized.”

The booklet brochure designed for the North Carolina Department of Transportation Division of Aviation was awarded Gold. “This award is a testament to the time and effort CreatiVisibility dedicates to their clients and products. The 2012 Economic Contribution of Airports brochure is recognized by the target audience as a great resource with a superb ability to convey an important message; it’s nice to hear that design professionals recognize the outstanding product as well", stated Daniel J. Findley, PhD, project manager for the brochure and principle investigator on the economic impact study.

Honorable Mention - MarCom Creative Award 2013Lastly, the marketing campaign, "Thrill! Event Innovator's 2013 Showfest Conference" designed for the North Carolina Association of Festivals and Events (NCAF&E) was recognized with Honorable Mention for pro bono marketing work. This vibrant campaign included print advertising, registration brochure, program booklet and the theme was carried to posters, dinner tickets, and conference name badges. This is the second year in a row that CreatiVisibility's work for NCAF&E has received this award.

MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals. The Association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and sets standards for excellence. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. Winners were selected from over 200 categories in seven forms of media and communication efforts- marketing, publications, marketing/promotion, public service/pro bono, creativity and electronic/interactive. About 19% of the entries won the Platinum Award, the organization's top honor. Twenty-two percent won Gold awards.
