At the meeting office suites, Nancy Moylan - Director of First Impressions, will happily greet you for conferences and directs phone calls among other important tasks. Vicki Whittemore is the manager at the office suites directing the administrative tasks with the help of Jamie Preslar, Assistant General Manager. Lisa Gullette is the Creative Director, Sales Manager, and key Business Administrator spending the majority of her time in the Apex production studio interacting with clients and team members locally and remotely. Lisa Terwilliger serves as writer and editor on our team.
Lisa Gullette's BiographyMs. Gullette’s professional experience encompasses technical and creative direction, production, and purchasing of public relations and marketing products. The variety of communications responsibilities range from expanding her client's visibility through news releases and printed marketing products, to designing Web sites, to managing print purchasing and delivery for clients. Over the years working as the communications program manager for the Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) at North Carolina State University, Ms. Gullette produced and/or directed a record number of press releases successfully gaining national visibility for the institute. In the last 2 years of her employment, she increased marketing 80% over the previous years, and increased media attention to the institute 575% over a 5 year period. She was the graphic designer at the institute creating original logos, layouts, and graphics used in hundreds of publications developed at the Institute for clients such as:
Ms. Gullette also served as the Institute’s Webmaster. She applied graphic design expertise to design the user interface of the majority of the Web sites that ITRE hosted and maintained and contracted Web sites hosted elsewhere. In addition, she built Web site architecture for new and re-designed sites, programmed HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP, XML/RSS and other hard-coding necessary to produce cutting edge Web sites for ITRE and its clients. She re-designed several Web sites to incorporate programming to become compliant with Section 508 of the American’s with Disabilities Act, and optimization for search engine indexing. While with ITRE, the institute served as Web host and maintained between 25 and 30 Web sites. Ms. Gullette developed or directed the content maintenance for 18 of those sites comprised of over 2000 pages and 6500 files. Community InvolvementCommunity service is important to Lisa Gullette. While employed by North Carolina State University, she started a monthly community service opportunity to encourage co-workers to donate to charitable causes such as Toys for Tots, Loving through Linens, Hurricane Katrina victims, local fire victims, the Ronald McDonald House, low income Wake County NC school children, local food banks/shelters and other causes. Since founding CreatiVisibility, Ms. Gullette has invested time into the Apex community while marketing Apex PeakFest by serving on the 2008 Apex Festival Commission, by being the Web site sponsor for 2009 PeakFest, and by organizing and leading a team of 28 youth and adults on a week-long mission trip to North Charleston, South Carolina to rehabilitate 3 houses in one of poorest, crime-riden communities of Charleston. Additionally, Ms. Gullette is involved in her church, Woodhaven Baptist Church in Apex in other local missions. Additionally, we donate monitarily to several local and national charities. EductationMs. Gullette graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Commercial Design with concentration studies in management, marketing and advertising from Atlantic Christian College (Barton College), has obtained a Computer Graphic Design Certificate from the NC School of Communication Arts, and routinely updates her skills in the Webmaster Program at North Carolina State University. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the NC School of Communication Arts and is a member of the North Carolina Association of Festivals and Events. Resume
